Hi, I'm Nehemiah

Therapist. Facilitator. Neurodivergent human who knows what it's like to feel everything—and finally learned to trust it.

I help people access the kind of healing that reaches beyond words, beyond logic, beyond what traditional therapy alone can touch.

Why I Do This Work

I didn't come to psychedelic therapy through a textbook or a conference. I came to it through witnessing transformation up close.

My husband did some of the most profound healing work I've ever seen through his own intentional journey with psilocybin—without therapy, without a facilitator. Deep somatic healing. A reconnection to himself that felt almost miraculous to witness.

What I was seeing wasn't magic. It was confirmation of everything I'd come to understand about trauma: it lives in the body, not just the mind.

As Bessel van der Kolk writes, the body keeps the score. Trauma gets stored in our nervous systems, in places language can't reach. You can understand your patterns, name your triggers, analyze your past—and still feel stuck. Because insight alone doesn't release what's been held in the body.

That's when I thought: What would be possible if people had this kind of access—but with therapeutic support? With someone who understands trauma and the nervous system?

That question became my path.

I dove into the research on psychedelics and trauma—particularly around what gets labeled "treatment-resistant depression." And here's what I found: most of the time, "treatment resistance" isn't about the person being broken. It's about the treatment not matching what's actually happening.

When we don't screen for neurodivergence or unresolved trauma before labeling someone "resistant," we miss the real story. Psychedelics help us access what's been stored somatically, what talk therapy alone often can't reach.

So I trained. I studied. I committed to holding this work with the care and rigor it deserves.

Not because I had it all figured out. But because I'd seen what was possible—and I wanted to help others find that same doorway to deep, embodied healing.
